Pullets Unit distribution Scheme

  • As per G.R. No, 1097/15604/Pra.kra. No -93/ ADF-4, Date 04.12.1998 Pullets distribution scheme is implemented under OTSP and TSP on 50 % Subsidy, subject to the availability of budget in selected districts of the State. Under this scheme, 10 females and 1 male of 8 to 10 weeks old are distributed. The cost of the unit is considered as Rs. 800/- and the additional cost if required is to be born by the beneficiary and, after the birds are distributed the cost of feed, feeding and watering trufts are to be purchased by the beneficiaries. The scheme is monitored at district level by district Deputy Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner Animal Husbandry of concerned Central Hatchery.
