The process of decision making in the context of implementation of developmental schemes of Livestock sector gets initiated at Farm Level wherein the Annual Plan proposals are submitted by Farm Manager to the Regional Manager, Frozen Semen Laboratory. The decision-making process is however guided by state level apex body i.e. office of Chief Executive Officer of MLDB and supervised by the Regional Manager, F SLabs at a divisional level. However, the policy matters are resolved by the Board of Directors and schemes are implemented with the help of the Department of Animal Husbandry. In the Livestock Development Board, the channels of supervision and accountability (including monitoring of activities and schemes) include three-tier functional set-up (State, Divisional and District).
