CONSTITUTION OF INDIA.

No. Pavia. 2680/7484(298)/ADF-5. – In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India and in supersession of all existing rules, orders or instruments made in this behalf, and in force in the State or any part thereof, the Governor of Maharashtra is hereby pleased to make the following rules regulating recruitment to the posts of Technical Assistant to Fodder Development Officer, Assistant Fodder Development Officer or Agriculture Officer (Class III) in the Animal Husbandry Department of the Government of Maharashtra, namely :-

1. These rules may be called the Technical Assistant to Fodder Development Officer, Assistant Fodder Development Officer or Agriculture Officer in the Animal Husbandry Department (Recruitment) Rules, 1984.

2. In these rules, unless the context requires otherwise, -

(a) “Animal Husbandry Department” means the Animal Husbandry Department of Government of Maharashtra ;

(b) “Government” means the Government of Maharashtra.

3. Appointment to the posts of Technical Assistant to Fodder Development Officer, Assistant Fodder Development Officer or Agriculture Officer in the Animal Husbandry Department shall be made by nomination from amongst candidates who.-

(i) unless already in the serve of Government are not more than 28 years of age ; and

(ii) possess a degree in Agriculture of a statutory University.

4. A person appointed to the post shall be on probation for a period of two years.

5. A person appointed to the post shall be required to pass the Departmental Examinations in Hindi and Marathi according to the rules made in that behalf, unless he has already passed, or has been exempted from passing those examinations.

6. A person appointed to the post shall be liable for transfer anywhere in the State of Maharashtra.

CONSTITUTION OF INDIA.

No. Pavia. 2692/905/(CR-91/92)/ADF-2. – In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Maharashtra is hereby pleased to make the following rules further to amend the ministerial posts of Superintendent, Senior Assistant Senior Clerk, Senior Computor, Store-keeper and Survey Assistant in the Animal Husbandry Department, (Recruitment) Rules, 1982, namely ;-

1. These rules may be called the ministerial posts of Superintendent, Senior Assistant Senior Clerk, Senior Computor, Store-keeper and Survey Assistant in the Animal Husbandry Department, (Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 1993.

2. For rule 4 of the ministerial posts of Superintendent, Senior Assistant Senior Clerk, Senior Computor, Store-keeper and Survey Assistant in the Animal Husbandry Department, (Recruitment) Rules, 1982 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal rules”), the following shall be substituted, namely :-

“4. Appointment to the post of Senior Assistant in the Animal Husbandry Department shall be made by promotion of a suitable person on the basis of seniority subject to fitness form amongst the persons who have performed not less than three years regular service in the cadre of Senior Clerk in the Animal Husbandry Department”.

3. In rule 7 of the principal rules for the words and figures, “any of the posts mentioned in rules 4 and 5”, the words and figures “the post mentioned in rule 5”, shall be substituted.
