NOTIFICATION

CONSTITUTION OF INDIA

No. PAVIA. 2197/30429/CR-171/PADUM-2. – In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Maharashtra is hereby pleased to make the following rules to amend the Livestock Supervisors in the Directorate of Animal Husbandry (Recruitment) Rules, 1983, as follows, namely :-

 

1. These rules may be called the Livestock Supervisors in the Directorate of Animal Husbandry (Recruitment) (First Amendment) Rules, 1999.

2. In rule 3 of the Livestock Supervisors in the Directorate of Animal Husbandry (Recruitment) Rules, 1983 in clause (b), for sub clause (ii), the following shall be substituted, namely :-

“(ii) have passed the Livestock Supervisors Training Course conducted by the Directorate of Animal Husbandry or by any Statutory Agricultural University or an equivalent University in the State of Maharashtra or have passed two years Diploma Course in the Dairy Farm Management and Animal Husbandry conducted by the Board of Technical Examinations, Maharashtra State, Mumbai or have passed two years Diploma Course in the Dairy Farm Management and Animal Husbandry conducted by any statutory Agricultural University or an equivalent University in i.e. State of Maharashtra after passing the Secondary School Certificate Examination :

Provided that, preference shall be given to candidate possessing degree in the B.V.Sc. or B.V.Sc. and Animal Husbandry of any statutory Agricultural University or an equivalent University of the State of Maharashtra.”.
